The first Dümmel patents go back more than half a century - most of our competitors did not even exist at the time. Thus in 1951 the first patent for a wind turbine was applied for. Even at this time the wind turbine enabled efficient conversion of wind energy into electrical power for production of the first braced tools.

Starting in 1949 the firm had developed from a mechanical workshop into the tool factory and various other innovations were also patented. Patents included a pendulum grinding machine that automated the oscillation movement when grinding.

Finally at the Paul Dümmel Werkzeugfabrik, the era of the carbide tools began. Since the late 1970s metal cutting tools with interchangeable reversible cutting tips have been produced here. Since then we have specialized in the miniature area with great success.
