The origin of the carbide tool factory Paul Dümmel GmbH goes back four generations. Our company was established in 1928.
The development and production of high-quality solid carbide metal cutting tools for metal working applications such as turning and milling has been one of our priorities for over 70 years. We are one of the leading carbide tool manufacturers in the rapidly growing industrial segment of miniature applications. We regard our customers as partners – not just when it comes to selling, but already during the development and manufacture of our tools. Based on this attitude we are a long termed productivity partner to our customers. Together we have the ability to optimize machining and increase productivity.

We are all responsible for quality. All employees and the management are responsible for quality. The goal is to continuously improve our processes and services. The customer sets the standard for quality. The judgment of our services determines our future. Customer satisfaction is the focus of all our work. Our most important objective is to have zero errors or 100% correct. We keep promised deadlines. For the customer, on-time delivery is an aspect of quality. We perform our work correctly, quickly and thoroughly from the beginning. This not only improves quality, but also reduces costs. Errors are recognized by us. Only errors that are recognized can be eliminated. We prevent repeat errors. Errors that are repeated count twice as heavily. We require the highest quality from our suppliers. Our quality standards can only be achieved if we work well together. Complaints are dealt with quickly and satisfactorily for the customer. The customer has a right to faultless service. With "all" employees we insist on keeping of the quality targets, which are based on the quality policy. We consider the natural resources of our environment as the basis of our economic activity. Our products support the careful and energy-saving use of natural resources. With our business activities we want to make a contribution to the preservation of our natural basis of life and to the protection of our environment from harmful influences. This includes, among other things, the economical and environmentally friendly use of the materials used. We also believe that we have an obligation to our employees, their families, our business partners, the legislature and the domestic environment. We commit ourselves to comply with existing laws and regulations, requirements of interested parties and self-imposed obligations and, in addition, to make a voluntary contribution to environmental protection and occupational safety.
